1. Commitment & Principles
Welcome to EmpathIQ (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We deeply respect the personal, confidential, and nuanced nature of interpersonal communications and psychological reflections. Protecting user privacy is our highest priority.
Key Principles:
- Data Minimization: No account, phone number, or identity registration is required to use core decoding features.
- Zero Trackers: We do not integrate any third-party behavioral profiling, advertising, or marketing trackers.
- Zero AI Training: Your inputs and uploaded screenshots are strictly never used to train or fine-tune Google Gemini, OpenAI, or foundation AI models.
2. Data Lifecycle: In-Memory Processing Only
Ephemeral Processing of Chat Text & Screenshots
When you input conversational text or upload a chat screenshot:
- Data is transmitted strictly via encrypted TLS 1.3 to our stateless serverless proxy solely to perform real-time cognitive and psychological semantic inference.
- No Cloud Persistence: We do not store your chat screenshots or text in any cloud database, object storage bucket, or persistent disk. Once inference completes, all in-memory buffers are immediately deallocated and wiped.
3. Local Device Storage (Local-Only)
The following data remains strictly on your local device hardware via encrypted local storage:
- Daily scan quota check-in records
- Up to 10 most recent cached local decode results
- Locally saved custom API keys (if explicitly configured by the user)
You can purge your local history and credentials at any time in the in-app Settings panel.
4. Device Permissions
- Internet Access (
android.permission.INTERNET): Used exclusively to perform encrypted HTTPS requests to generate psychological decoding results.
- Photo Library / File Selection: Requested solely when you intentionally tap “📷 Upload Chat Screenshot”. We never index, scan, or access any other photos or media on your device.
- Clipboard Access: Used exclusively on the front-end to detect short active text snippets for convenient one-tap pasting. No clipboard history is ever logged or transmitted.
5. User Rights & Data Deletion
You retain absolute control over your digital footprint. Simply uninstalling the application or selecting “Clear App Data & Cache” in your Android settings will permanently erase all locally stored data.

- 零廣告追蹤：絕不整合任何第三方商業廣告打點、行為追蹤或使用者畫像 SDK。
- 零 AI 訓練承諾：您的文字與截圖資料絕不會被用於 Google Gemini、OpenAI 或任何大語言模型的二次訓練。
2. 對話文字與截圖的記憶體生命週期
純記憶體即時流轉，無持久化儲存
當您在輸入框輸入文字或上傳聊天截圖時：
- 資料僅透過強加密的 TLS 1.3 安全通道傳輸至無狀態服務節點進行即時語義推演。
- 無持久化儲存保證：我們絕不將您的私密聊天截圖或文字保存至任何雲端資料庫或實體磁碟；推演任務一旦結束，所有記憶體圖片與暫存資料立即從伺服器徹底釋放並銷毀。
3. 本地裝置持久化儲存 (Local-Only)
您的每日打卡額度、最近 10 條解碼快取紀錄及自訂 API 金鑰僅加密儲存在您目前裝置本機（透過 SharedPreferences）。您隨時可在設定面板中一鍵清空所有歷史紀錄。
4. 裝置權限調用說明
- 網路通訊權限 (
INTERNET)：僅用於與安全推演節點進行 HTTPS 傳輸。
- 相簿/檔案選擇權限：僅在您主動點擊「📷 上傳聊天截圖」時請求授權讀取所選圖片，絕不掃描或上傳相簿中其他無關照片。
- 剪貼簿讀取：僅用於偵測是否有短文字以便一鍵貼上，絕不上傳剪貼簿歷史。
5. 使用者權利與資料刪除
您享有完全的資料自主權。若需徹底清除所有紀錄，只需在 Android 設定中點擊「清除應用程式資料」或解除安裝 EmpathIQ，本機記錄即刻物理抹除。
